For the second year we have been awarded ‘Best Roofing Contractor’ at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards.  The awards were launched in March where companies were nominated by clients and from there finalists were chosen by a panel of judges. Judging was based on client questionnaires which covered the level of service and quality of work.

To win this award again has been overwhelming and we are so grateful to SHIA, our clients and workforce for making it happen.

In August 2015 we were thrilled to be awarded ‘Scotland’s Best Roofing Contractor’ at the inaugural Scottish Home Improvement Awards.

To be nominated for this award and become one of five finalists was such a great achievement in itself, but to win our category (which is voted for by the public) was truly gratifying. 

Thank you to all those who voted for us and we look forward to next year, in the hope that we can defend our title as Scotland’s Best Roofing Contractor!

We are delighted to announce that we are now approved members of The Scottish Building Federation.

Being part of this federation not only gains us access to a range of excellent services and specialist advice but gives us a competitive edge over competitors and recognition as a competent contractor and quality business.  We have the reassurance that we are up-to-date with the latest legislation, regulations and bureaucracy and that our thoughts and opinions are represented within the industry.

Angus, who has been a trusted and loyal employee of Aim Developments since 1984 was recently presented with a commemorative gift to mark this milestone and thank him for his service to the company.  

He is our longest serving Fitter and has worked with us on projects across Scotland (and as far from home as Hong Kong!) carrying out an impressive range of diverse and challenging contracts and installing thousands and thousands of meters of single ply membrane.  

Like all of our production team, he works in hazardous conditions and in all weathers installing the leading brand of membrane on the market, for which we appreciate and acknowledge his long term commitment.     

There are many stories he could tell and could be told! However, all we wish to say is a big thank you.
